This book is written for anyone who works with elders and is concerned about their well being. It is intended to serve both as an introduction to the subject of elder abuse and neglect and as a guide to effective intervention. It is my hope that the book will contribute to the information, sustenance and energy that are needed to work with these challenging situation. It will also provide a comprehensive overview of the elder abuse and to closely study abuse faced by the elderly population in the Indian society. It is an effort to analyse elder abuse, its types, reasons and frequency of abuse and so on.
